The Act

A short film based on Human Interaction and whether human interaction is seen as a: Human Need or a Luxury with an abstract style and making use of transgressive aesthetics.

Our film follows the life of our character falling into a deep loneliness and having a lack of human interaction. Our film was made to be relatable and about making a change without glorifying the idea of loneliness. The film is called "The Act" as the film is based on three different acts where the film starts off with two characters watching the film from their tv as a way of presenting the film at hand as an ad. Moreover, it goes on to show the first act being the loneliness or the "pre-interaction", following the second act being the interaction, and the third and final act being the ending where we make the change and showcase the transgression we made by encouraging people to do acts of kindness and embody it in their everyday life with the quote "One kind act can make a huge difference".
